Molly Nelson graduated from University of South Alabama in 2004 with a Masters in Physical Therapy degree. She accepted her first position in Fort Collins, Colorado working for three years in orthopedic rehabilitation for a US News 50 Best Hospitals in Orthopedics. She returned to her hometown of Mobile, Alabama taking a sports medicine position with Encore Rehabilitation in 2007.

Her time with Encore Rehabilitation has allowed her to work in a variety of settings in the Mobile area including collegiate and high school athletic facilities. With the help of the Sports Medicine team, she was instrumental in establishing onsite Physical Therapy at Murphy High School and Davidson High School.

Currently, Molly is the Clinical Director at Encore Rehabilitation-Mobile Midtown and serves as the Physical Therapist with the Sports Medicine Team at UMS-Wright Preparatory School.

Molly believes patient care and respect should be held at highest degree while searching for root cause of orthopedic problems to allow people to move better and meet individual goals. Annual continuing education goals are accomplished by her with the most recent Certifications in ASYTM, SPORTSMETRICS, and Dry Needling. Her clinical interests include injury prevention programs, post surgical pain, ACL rehab with progression back to sport, and general orthopedic dysfunctions.

Molly and her husband, Jeff,  have two beautiful daughters that love to spend time playing golf, watching sports, and going to the beach together.

Physical Therapist Jack Dockery has been a Clinician with Encore Rehabilitation for seven years. He began his career with Encore at the Pascagoula Clinic and is currently the Clinical Director for Encore Rehabilitation-Tillman’s Corner in Theodore, Alabama.

Dr. Jack Dockery grew up in Mobile, AL where he attended the University of South Alabama for his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2011. He earned an advanced undergraduate degree for Bachelor of Pre-Professional Health Sciences also from the University of South Alabama in 2009.

Jack has an advanced background of working with orthopedic patients, athletes, and worker’s compensation patients. He has completed continuing education with emphasis on manual therapy treatments and has received his Certification in Dry Needling.

When Jack is not working, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his friends, family, and pets.

Fayette Encore Athlete of the Month, Mason Bonner!

Congratulations to the Fayette Encore Athlete of the Month, Mason Bonner! Mason is a Junior multi-sport athlete at Fayette County High School. He has been on the Varsity Tiger’s Football and Tennis teams for 3 years now and wears jersey #70. Mason has a 3.26 GPA and plans to attend the University of South Alabama for Mechanical Engineering and then the University of Alabama for Law. He is the son of Ashley Bonner.

Arab Encore Athlete of the Month, Trent Myers.

Congratulations to the Arab Encore Athlete of the Month, Trent Myers! Trent is a Senior athlete at Brindlee Mountain High School. He has played on the varsity Lions Basketball team for 4 years now and wears jersey #13. Trent has won the All-County Basketball award and has a 3.0 GPA. After graduation next spring, Trent plans to attend the University of South Alabama and major in Criminal Justice. He is the son of Corey and Derrick Duke.

Fairfield Encore Athlete of the Month, Mya Kirksey

Congratulations to the Fairfield Encore Athlete of the Month, Mya Kirksey! Mya is a rising senior athlete at Fairfield High School. She has played on the varsity softball team for 4 years now and wears jersey #12. Mya currently has a 3.5 GPA and plans to attend the University of South Alabama after graduation next spring to major in nursing! She is the daughter of Tia Brown. Good luck your senior year Mya!

Diamondhead Encore Athlete of the Month, Aija Pettis.

Congratulations to the Diamondhead Encore Athlete of the Month, Aija Pettis! Aija is a senior cheerleader at Pass Christian High School in Mississippi.  She has been on the Pirates Varsity Cheer team for one year now and has won the Pin Award at cheer camp. After graduation this May, Aija plans to attend the University of South Alabama and major in nursing. She is the daughter of Sabrina Cook and Derek Pettis. Keep up the good work, Aija!

Tuscaloosa Encore Athlete of the Month, Colby Free.

Congratulations to Colby Free who was chosen as the Tuscaloosa Clinic Encore Athlete of the Month! Colby is a sophomore, Majorette at Hillcrest High School in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She has a GPA of 3.6 and would like to attend University of Alabama to pursue a degree in Law and hopes to become a Crimsonette as well. We are certain with her experience and beautiful smile she will become a wonderful addition to the UofA Crimsonette team!

Colby is the daughter of Jeff and Nocole Free. Good Luck Colby, keep up the good work!

Vernon Encore Athlete of the Month, Rebecca Moore.

Congratulations to Rebecca Moore who was chosen as the the Vernon Clinic Athlete of the Month! Rebecca is a multi-sport, sophomore athlete at Sulligent High School. She has played Varsity Basketball (#21) and Volleyball (#26) for two years now. Her sports awards consist of the 2014 Rebound award, 2014 Volleyball Most Improved, and she is a member of the 2014 Sweet Sixteen in Volleyball. After she graduates, her plans are to attend the University of Alabama and major in physical therapy. Rebecca is the daughter of Neil and Jennifer Moore.

Diamondhead Clinic Athlete of the Month, Amanda Green.

Congratulations to the Diamondhead Encore Athlete of the Month, Amanda Green. Amanda is a sophomore, multi-sport, athlete at Hancock High School and a member of the basketball and volleyball teams (#24).  Her future plans are to attend The University of South Alabama and major in the medical field.  Amanda is the daughter of George and Merry Green.
